 Impact of Climate Change in Bangladesh Composition

Climate change is the most discussing and pressing issue at this moment across the world. Bangladesh is facing a new kind of problem over the years. Our environment is now on the threat. of a new type of pollution due to the effects of climate change. There are so many impacts of climate change in day to day life of the people of Bangladesh. They are agriculture, ecosystem, forests, sea level, regional weather, health and economics etc .

The impacts of climate change are too many. to be described. Its effect is very devastating. destructive and dangerous to the existence of Bangladesh, her people, animals and birds. plant lives. Global climate change affects our agriculture, ecosystem, forests, sea level, health. economics and also the livelihoods of our people. 

Impacts of climate change include excessive rainfall, salinity intrusion, rise of floods, cyclones. storm surges and drought, which affect the agriculture and livelihoods, especially of the poor section of society in Bangladesh. 

In Bangladesh climate change will have significant impacts on the global temperature such as increase in temperature. change in weather pattern and rise of sea level. Rising temperature could flood coastal areas and farmland. The lower southern part of our country may one day go under water because of rising sea level. 

A hotter atmosphere always creates more storms, cyclones and more extreme weather events. Bangladesh as a third world country may be victim to this circumstances. 


Animals, birds and forests in Bangladesh will find it difficult to escape from or adjust to ,the result of warming because humans occupy so much land. Under climate change and global warming, some birds, and animals will tend to migrate towards the poles and up mountainsides towards higher elevations. Some types of forests like the sundarbans may disappear. 

In a warmer world. the scientists disclose that more people get sick or die from heat stress. The tropical diseases may spread in our country including dengue fevers, yellow fevers. rising incidence of allergies and other respiratory diseases.

Bangladesh is still a member of the least developed countries. It's economy is gradually .increasing. Our ultimate challenge is to feed the increasing number of population. We see that the livelihoods of the southern parts of Bangladesh are going to fall in danger. Tidal waves often submerge the agricultural lands and their habitats. This loss impacts on our economy. 

Necessary steps should be taken to save Bangladesh and her people from climate change. People should be encouraged to plant trees more instead of cutting down trees indiscriminatelv.To make our life healthy. comfortable and danger free we should keep the environment clean and safe from all kinds of pollution. Mills, factories and brick-fields should be set up in a planned way. Vehicles should be brought under control so that they might not produce deafening sound and emit black smoke.
